The Post 56 Riders were founded in 2010 and have been actively supporting Veterans, Active Duty Service Members, Families, and the Community ever since. We ride and volunteer to build camaraderie and strengthen our bonds as Veterans who still have a desire to serve. 

Every year we conduct various activities to achieve the fundraising goals we set to support Veterans, Active Duty Families, the Interfaith Community of Hope Shelter, VFW National’s Vander Clute Ride, Wreaths Across America, and our Post. 

We host a community breakfast at the Post the second Saturday of the month from April through December, host an annual memorial ride every June, visit local cemeteries during Memorial Day weekend known as "Toot’s Ride”, support the Leavenworth Veterans Day Parade, support the escort and laying of wreaths at the National Cemeteries, and many other events.

Following our monthly breakfast, we conduct a ride to Veteran homes or memorials in the area to pay homage to those who came before us and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
